I had a slight fear of dentists due to some previous bad experiences and hadn't been to one for many years. I chipped a tooth earlier this year and needed to get some work done and thought I would try Ascot Vale Smiles since I passed them on the road every day. My dentist fears have completely disappeared. The service is excellent, the staff are all chatty and friendly and even though it may be months between visits, they remember you and even the little things about your family and work etc. I have been a number of times now to get various issues fixed and have seen two of the dentists in the team and been very pleased with both of them. They constantly explain what they are doing throughout the procedures and are always checking on your comfort. I have no hesitation in recommending them. ~ NEIL S

I wanted to have some work done to change the appearance of my teeth and I knew it was going to be a little expensive so I wanted to get a few quotes from different dentists. I knew as soon as I walked in I was going to be happy, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the place is very clean. Dr Nick made me feel very comfortable and I trusted his opinion and advice on what to do as I was very nervous. I was so surprised when I looked in the mirror once he had finished, I was shocked at what an amazing job he did! After neglecting my dental care for an embarrassingly long time, I took a chance on Ascot Vale Smiles based on their impeccable reviews and Google rating. I am so happy I did! It’s clear that their reputation is well earnt. I’ve had two appointments with them now and was nervous, but found the dentist and dental assistant to be incredibly kind and reassuring, answering all my questions thoroughly and then checking in on me periodically throughout. I was really impressed with the facilities and appreciated how easy everything was made for me. After my initial consultation and clean, I’ve had two fillings and been beyond happy with the results. While dental appointments are never cheap, I really felt like I was paying for a top-quality service and level of care. I called this practice last minute for a general dental cleaning and from the get go, the receptionist Cynthia was a delight to deal with. She was the absolute best and helped me secure an appointment for today that I desperately wanted. She was friendly, very helpful and such a pleasure to deal with. She made my whole experience at Ascot Vale Smiles a 5 star experience. The dentist ( I forgot her name) was also a very professional lady who showed me new tricks and gave me some new info on taking care of gums and teeth. She made me feel very welcome and comfortable and did an excellent job with the cleaning. I had been looking for a good dental practice in Melbourne for a while and I am so glad I had this experience today, this is my new dental practice from today!!! I have started seeing Dr Zainab for some difficult work on my teeth. What a lovely bunch of staff! Dr is very thorough and doesn't rush things, and stops for a short break if she notices I'm getting a little overwhelmed. Although she doesn't rush things, last appointment I thought we were only halfway through, but was surprised when she said everything had already been done! Her assistant is also caring and gentle, and I cannot fault the lovely girl at reception for her efficiency and friendliness. There's a bit of a wait between appointments, but apart from that, I highly recommend this practice. ~ fhaisi

I was very worried to get my teeth fixed as I’ve always been very scared of the dentist. Ascot Vale Smiles was the easiest and friendliest experience I’ve had with my teeth yet. My dentist Melissa was very gentle and made sure I was comfortable. A filling fell out and I called the day after they booked me in straight away to have it fixed and explained that there was a problem with certain bonding agents. The reception staff were absolutely lovely and a pleasure to deal with. I know for a fact I will be coming back for my next appointment as well as my following regular check ups. My family, including two young children, were clients at Ascot Vale Smiles for a number of years and we have always been happy with their care and advice. We changed dentist due to moving house well out of range Ascot Vale, however I still work locally. I recently suffered a severe toothache at work and needed urgent attention, Dr Zainab made space in her schedule to see me on the same day. I found Dr Zainab to be both very professional and very caring in her approach and the outcome of her intervention provided me with instant and lasting relief. Must give 5 stars to super dental ascot vale smile 😃 😊 due to my severe toothache, I hoped to make an appointment with the dentist on the same day. When I contacted the Ascot vale smile, I was very appreciated that I could still make an appointment when the the clinic was so busy. And I have to say everything here is perfect. My experience here is also the most comfortable dental experience in my life. The enviroment of clinic is very peaceful and I love it. I am so incredibly scared of going to the dentist. It’s one of my biggest fears. I picked Ascot Vale Smiles because my partner highly recommended them. I am so happy I went there. They are all very wonderful and caring and made the entire experience really lovely and fun! From the moment I walked in the door it was welcoming and a very friendly environment. I visit Ascot Vale smiles for third time this morning for an emergency dental attention and I got the best service thnks to Dr Nick helped me one more time to keep a healthy mounth. My first visit was realeated to a big split in my front tooth and after my appiontment I had a look in the mirror noticing how natural my new tooth look even that day I coudnt stop smiling. Third visit was a big crack in my molar that was leading to a very bad pain, now Im happy the pain is not there anymore. I really will come back to Ascot Vale Smiles for future appointments. If I could give Dr Nick and his team 6 stars, believe me I would. I recently completed my braces journey with Dr Nick and I couldn’t be happier with the end result. The amount of attention to detail and care for his craft is second to none. He was incredibly friendly and kept me well informed with every step of the way. It’s a bit bittersweet coming to the end of my braces journey because I really enjoyed coming into the clinic and interacting to the friendly team. I have been attending Ascot Vale Smiles since moving to this area 5 years ago and find Dr Nick to be very professional, supportive and caring. He always greets you with a smile and has time to listen and explain the treatment required. Dr Nick performs within your budget and completes the work to your satisfaction. I don't take any anesthetic which goes to show how gentle he is. The Practice is hygienically clean with up to date equipment, as well as, wonderful and friendly staff. I've been coming to Ascot Vale Smiles for nearly 5 years and would not consider going elsewhere. The team is lovely and you feel really cared for. Nick was excellent throughout the period I had braces, and continues to be an excellent dentist every time I visit. He always explains exactly what he's going to be doing during your appointment and is very up front if he has any concerns about your teeth or things he wants to keep an eye on in the future. Very happy with all my visits to Ascot Vale Smiles. I have always had an unreasonable fear of dentists. To the point that before a visit, I have needed a rather large scotch and coke before attending for even minor check-ups (rather unpleasant for early morning appointments). Thanks to Dr Nick and his staff, after 3-4 visits, including a root canal, I no longer need to do this. Dr Nick is very attentive to his patients pain and discomfort. And his friendly manner and conversation goes a long way to putting his patients at ease. Even before entering the surgery, his receptionist is always friendly and welcoming, taking your mind off what is to come (it is dentistry after all). In a strange way I look forward to my visits, something I never thought I would say. Dr Nick knows his trade well and is up on the latest techniques and advice. I highly recommend this surgery. The team at AVS are wonderful. I spent a lot of time here whilst I had lingual braces, with monthly adjustments. Dr Nick is professional and knowledgeable, and I was very happy with his realignment work / cosmetic dentistry. The hygienists/dental assistants at the clinic are high-calibre and the team work seamlessly together. The reception team are very welcoming and friendly, especially Cynthia, with a great booking system and friendly appointment reminders. During covid times their hygiene standards have been exemplary. Three visits in and I’m very grateful I found ascot vale smiles. Nick Tsui is an extraordinary dentist. Arguably the very best I’ve experienced. It’s as if I’m on the starship enterprise receiving dental treatment from a distant future where there is no pain and only bliss. I unreservedly recommend Dr Nick for any dental work. I have undergone a range of treatments from a simple check up & clean, to whitening, multiple fillings, bonding and Invisalign, and all have been completed to an excellent standard. After receiving several quotes for Invisalign, I stumbled upon Ascot Vale smiles and found their prices to be very reasonable; it was also clear from my first consultation that Dr Nick is extremely knowledgeable. He was confidently using technology that some of the other places I consulted with had told me they didn't have yet or were just learning how to use. I made my decision immediately after the first consult and felt totally at ease during all my subsequent appointments. Dr Nick was always realistic and honest with me about the results that could be achieved, never oversold or tried to get me to add extra treatments (in fact, I ended up with less bonding work than we'd initially planned), and exemplified professional standards in every way.
